Members of the ISSSC may display the pedigrees of their qualified Seppala Siberian Sleddogs and registered outcrosses in this section. There are no registration requirements for a purebred to have his pedigree here, but the dog must satisfy the ISSSC founders definition of a Seppala Siberian Sleddog. See the index on the left for the names of the dogs arranged in alphabetical order. We will only list pedigrees for dogs born since the founders group established in 2005. However, pedigrees of the approximately 165 Seppala Siberian Sleddogs founders with at least one parent NOT officially Continental Kennel Club (CKC) registered as a purebred Seppala Siberian Sleddog are included here in the category labeled Founders. Click on a name there to see a five-generation pedigree and other data as available for that dog. The CKC has compiled a directory of all the ancestors of these founders back to Leonard Seppala's original imports. Pedigrees for these can be obtained from the CKC for a small fee. Pedigrees of all CKC-registered descendents of these founders are also available. When inquiring of the CKC, stipulate clearly that you want a pedigree of a dog in the Seppala Siberian Sleddog directory, as the CKC handles pedigrees for other breeds differently. The CKC registration number, or pedfile number, if known, will greatly facilitate getting a pedigree. The CKC is the only complete repository with truly accurate pedigrees for Seppala Siberian Sleddogs in the past 40 years.

Race of Seppalta XSD LD, SG-01404168, pictured at the left, was the first purebred Seppala Siberian Sleddog registered by the Continental Kennel Club. "It's all about attitude", and Race has been to date the best 21st century Seppala stud. Prepotent for attitude, Race has never thrown a dog that wasn't crazy to run, and to keep running. Race typifies in attitude, ability, personality and type the Seppala Siberian Sleddog.

Outstanding performers have titles - SD, LD, XSD, XLD, as adopted by the ISSSC and CKC - added to their name. For more information about these titles refer to the "Racing Titles" page of this website. These titles have been assigned for meritorious performance and should not be confused with Siberian Husky of America Siberian Husky titles of similar designation: SD and XSD. The latter are only minimal participation titles and not related to racing merit.
